Production Manager Full Time

Our client an established food to go company are currently looking to recruit an experienced production manager to work initially within their current site. Then move over with them to the new expended site.

Main duties & responsibilities,

  • Planning and coordinating all production activities and making sure production targets are met.
  • Making sure that the production line moves smoothly and efficiently.
  • Leading and developing your team to ensure optimal production effectiveness
  • Ensuring that the company’s quality, hygiene and health & safety standards are met at all times
  • Liaising with colleagues in technical, planning and supply chain departments
  • Looking after machinery and coordinating breakdown responses so that minimal time is lost
  • Maintaining up-to-date production, personnel and quality records
  • Ensuring handovers between shifts are smooth and no time is lost
  • Assisting your team when necessary
  • Liaise with Production Planning to assist in the preparation of an effective and efficient production plan for the site
  • Monitoring and controlling the labour requirements of the department; including the incorporation of relevant capacities and payroll budget levels.
  • Assisting with interviewing new staff.
  • Ensuring that all department staff have the skills necessary to consistently carry out their duties to the required standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Environmental and Hygiene legislation and procedures within the department’s scope of operations.

Working hours – flexible 8am to 5pm Sunday to Thursday (35hr contract)

Holiday entitlement – 30 days

Salary - £30-£50k depending on experience

Finance Manager Full Time

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Under supervision, the finance manager is responsible for recording all monies coming into and leaving the Clerk’s Office. The finance clerk performs a wide variety of financial recordkeeping duties. These duties include bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and financial reporting. The nature of work may require mandatory compensatory time including night, weekends, and holidays

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.

1. Reports to Factory Manager

2. Assists in maintaining the Office financial records

3. Prepares all invoices for payment

4. Investigates and resolves all inquiries with billing and invoicing

5. Maintains customer’s financial information

6. Maintains vendors’ financial information and file.

7. Assists in posting journal entries into the accounting software

8. Assists in preparing various financial reports for management to forecasts personnel and service costs. Assists in preparing a variety of forms, correspondence, inter-department memos for management and departmental support

9. Assists in tracking employee vacation and sick time and processing employee time into the payroll system

10. Assists in managing the payroll system and processing pay checks according to established pay cycle

11. Assists in preparing and maintaining the budgets for the Office and special projects

12. Performs other financial activities as required

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Knowledge of policies and practices associated with payroll and benefits administration

· Computerized accounting programs

· Knowledge and ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Accounts payable and receivable

· Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures

· Administration of employee benefits

· Payroll systems

· An understanding of relevant financial legislation policies and procedures

Skills: The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Analytical and problem solving skills

· Ability to communicate both written and verbally

· Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills

· Skill in preparing written communication

· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

· Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry Personal

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in accounting

2. Knowledge in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable or the equivalent

3. Experience working with an automated financial management system

Working hours – 35hrs, 8am to 4pm

Holiday entitlement – 30 days

Salary - £40-55k depending on experience

Any additional company benefits (if applicable) – healthcare and pension

- Scanning hospital files form the various locations

The work as an assistant to the operations manager covering all aspects of the site greenhouses & packhouses.

Main duties:

To learn and support the site from the green houses to the pack house.

To report directly into the site operations manager who will train and nurture the right candidate in all aspects of plant life of site.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and a want to learn and grow within the industry.

The right candidate will meet the criteria below:

  • Previous farming or crop experience
  • Previous knowledge or farm vehicles
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Good practical MS Office skills/experience

Hours of work 7am till 4pm ( 5 days a week )

Please note the shift is working 5 out of 7 days. Weekend rotation included.

Up to £25k per annum- Depending on experience
