Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our clients team on a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. Duties

• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently and safely.
• Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch.
• Perform mechanical tasks as needed, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain an organised warehouse environment by keeping stock neatly arranged and accessible.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are logged correctly.
• Operate forklifts safely and effectively when required for moving heavy items or pallets.

Skills

• Proficiency in loading and unloading goods with attention to safety standards.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems for efficient inventory tracking.
• Experience in picking and packing processes, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Capability for heavy lifting, with an understanding of safe lifting techniques.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
