Teamwork Partnership are recruiting for an experienced Deputy General Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day operation of a busy wholesale, retail, or distribution depot.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the General Manager to drive operational excellence, team performance, customer service, and depot standards. You will take full ownership of depot operations in the absence of the General Manager and play a key role in developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Team Management

  • Support and deputise for the General Manager

  • Manage performance and address operational challenges

Depot Operations

  • Oversee daily opening and closing of the depot

What We're Looking For

? Previous experience in a Depot Manager, Deputy Manager, Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, or Retail Management role

You'll play a key role in ensuring your department delivers excellent standards, availability, and customer experience every day.

Key Responsibilities- Section Operations

  • Maintain high standards across your department
  • Ensure stock is merchandised, organised, and replenished effectively

Stock Control & Availability

  • Monitor stock levels using handheld systems (HHT)

Key Responsibilities- Stock Replenishment & Merchandising

  • Replenish stock throughout the day to maximise product availability
  • Ensure shelves are fully stocked and presented to a high standard
  • Remove empty pallets and maintain tidy aisles
  • Pull stock forward and maintain promotional displays

Warehouse & Stock Handling

  • Move stock safely using pump trucks, lifting equipment, or forklifts
  • Report damaged or missing stock to supervisors
  • Support stock management and inventory accuracy
  • Assist with goods movement across the depot

Customer Service

  • Greet customers and provide assistance when required
  • Support checkout operations during busy periods
